"Global Servants in Christian Education"

Other Overseas Initiatives

Students at Pacific Academy are encouraged to develop positive attitudes which help them respond responsibly to the world in which they live.

They are taught to think globally and act personally. Their world view, which focuses on integrity and compassion, is developed by careful exposure to life experiences and the values of Christ.

A very special part of a Pacific Academy student's education is the opportunity to reach out not only to people locally, but also to communities around the world. Students are involved in supporting schools in Haiti and Uganda. They undertake projects that help them understand, first hand, what it is like to live in a less developed nation or to be needy in a land of plenty.

2005 Outreach Teams

In recent years, Pacific Academy High School students have undertaken outreach/service projects in Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Panama, Philippines, Russia, Uganda and in inner city New York and Vancouver. Many students who have participated on outreach teams can attest to the life changing impact of their experiences.
