Kibaale Church Growth

Kibaale Community Center is concerned with seeing that individuals grow as Christians and that the local churches and pastors are equipped to help and support their communities. With the help of a number of individuals from urban churches in Uganda and from international groups, workshops are arranged for pastors and lay leaders. Teaching resources are also distributed and as donors express interest funds are provided to construct simple churches in the villages.

Village Churches

In their "spare" time, some of the staff at Kibaale Centre become involved with encouraging and being resource people for local village churches. "Most of these churches have almost no resourcesto work with and pastors survive on a pittance. . . . Many pastors have very little training as they don't have the means to go to Bible College . . . " Nsozibiiri church is one such example. (see pastor below).

Some of the churches became centres for famine relief over the last few weeks, after the recent drought saw many families starving.
